فَسـئَلُوا اَهلَ الذِّكرِ اِن كُنتُم لَا تَعلَمُونَ‏

So, ask the people (having the knowledge) of the Reminder (the earlier Scriptures), if you do not know.

Collective Recitation of Surah Baqarah
Question:- Is it permissible for a person to complete Surah al Baqarah and hold a feast for it?
Answer:- Reciting Surah Al Baqara and finishing it for obtaining blessings and to ward off misfortunes and sufferings is permissible in itself but gathering people for this purpose is not proven and holding a feast or giving wages for this act is not permissible.
