Leaving Haram without Performing Umrah

Question:- I have a close relative in Jeddah. I intend to travel straight to his home from Pakistan and join him for a program. And then, from there I intend to travel to Dubai at night, as I have a business meeting there. From there, I will come back to Makkah and perform Umrah. Is it permissible for me to enter the boundaries of Haram and leave without performing Umrah? Will I have to give sacrifice (dam)?

Answer:- In this case, it is better that you perform Umrah in your first visit to Jeddah. But if it is not possible due to compulsion, then perform Umrah on your return. You would not have to offer a sacrifice (dam).
