فَسـئَلُوا اَهلَ الذِّكرِ اِن كُنتُم لَا تَعلَمُونَ‏

So, ask the people (having the knowledge) of the Reminder (the earlier Scriptures), if you do not know.

Method of Adhaan, Iqamah and Tahneek for a Newborn
Question:- What is the correct way of giving Adhan and Iqamah in the newborn’s ear and what’s the right way of performing Tahniq?
Answer:- First, after performing ablution hold the child, facing the Holy Kaaba. Then recite adhan in the right ear of the newborn whereas Iqamah in the left ear. If it is convenient, then it is better to have a pious man do this for you.
