Prayer Call in the ear of Newborn through Video Call

Question:- I wanted to ask that the Prayer Call is said in the right ear of the newborn and Iqamah in the left ear; Can this prayer call be given through video call? What is the ruling on this?

Answer:- The correct method of saying Azan and Iqamah in the ear of a child is to stand facing the Qiblah while holding the baby. Adhan in the right ear and Iqamah in the left ear, and as normal practice when saying حي على الصلاة the face should be turned to the right and when saying حي على الفلاح the face should be turned to the left. If Azan and Iqamah are given through video call, it will not be possible to follow the correct method.
