فَسـئَلُوا اَهلَ الذِّكرِ اِن كُنتُم لَا تَعلَمُونَ‏

Question:- Kindly tell me the details of using credit card and its credit points. Are they Halal or not?

Answer:- Credit cards are based on Usury (Riba), and since it is forbidden to enter in a Usury based contract, acquiring a credit card under normal circumstances is not allowed; hence to use the points acquired by a credit card are also prohibited.
